Get Ready: First Day of School!

8:10am on Campus

Gates open at 7:40am; Parents should exit campus by 8:05am.

Class assignments for returning students are coming! Please keep checking the Parent Portal to find your child’s teacher.

On the first day of school, Colfax teachers will meet students (Grades 1-5) on the playground and escort them to class.

2. Complete the Parent Volunteer Info Form

3. Donate to Annual Giving

4. Sync the Colfax Calendar to your phone + computer

5. Read the Colfax Connection (weekly Monday email) & email from your Room Rep (weekly Wednesday emails)

6. Follow @ColfaxParents on Facebook & Instagram

7. Mark your calendar for our first Parent Association Mtg on Aug. 21 @ 6pm

8. Register your Ralph's card so a percentage of each shopping trip will go to 'Colfax Avenue Elementary PACE'

9. Download the Membership Toolkit app

10. Go to colfaxPACE.org to learn more about how to get involved!

Colfax PACE is the parent organization that plans and runs all the fundraising and advocacy events for our charter school so we can provide our children with the enriched education they deserve. Through these efforts, we are able to provide classrooms aides, staff for science and art, the school farm, garden and so much more.

Families in need of after school care can apply for LAUSD's FREE Beyond the Bell program in collaboration with Team Prime Time.

Completed applications may be submitted by:

Placing them in the Team Prime Time box located in the Colfax Office, or
Handing them directly to Destiny Rojo, our Colfax Site Director
